Whitinsville Christian Teams with Northeast Portable Storage to receive a generous donation from Polar Leasing refrigeration.

Whitinsville Christian, a local school, completed their Dutch Apple Pie fundraiser this year by going above and beyond what the goal was set to be. This year, for the 2024 Dutch Apple Pie fundraiser, Whitinsville Christian puts on quite the sale to ensure that the school will thrive throughout the rest of the year. By selling more pies than the goal was set to be, the school was able to gift 670 pies to local pantries, nursing homes and many more.

Just to name a few of the local community members who received a “pay it forward” pie was the Millbury Seniors and the Daily Bread Food Pantry.

The Millbury Seniors were especially grateful and appreciated all the pies that were gifted.

“The Friends of the Millbury Seniors has been receiving your pies for many years and we hope to continue. Every Family that receives one of those delicious special Dutch apple pies gets so excited. The smiles at getting it along with a big turkey basket is so heartwarming. Please know your volunteers are a treasured group and we say thank you and well done”

Northeast Portable Storage, a local portable storage company here in Massachusetts, worked closely with Polar leasing to ensure that a walk-in portable commercial refrigerator was donated for the entire time that the Dutch Apple Pie was going on. Polar leasing is a nationwide refrigeration rental company. The portable refrigeration allowed Whitinsville Christian to store and properly distribute the delicious Dutch Apple pies to the lucky buyers.
